I heard this on the way home from work tonight and at first I thought it was some shitty band, but I've actually never heard of this band before. I really loved this song. I didn't hear the whole thing until I bought it from iTunes just now and I like it even more now. I can't relate to the lyrics, but I really love the chorus. For some reason, the idea of wanting to be buried in someone's backyard and the flowers growing is just so sweet, in a stalker way. The chorus even sounds really good, too. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to check out this band.
It's kind of weird because it sounds so similar to most of the electronic junk on the radio now. I'm not sure why, but it really stands out for me, even the lyrics do. They're so dark and I just love that because life these days seems so dark, the whole image of a car crash is just so sad, too. Anyone who reads these lyrics and likes them should really hear the song, I like it. It's probably more of a guilty pleasure thing, though. Here it is:
